If you do suspect that your windows are deteriorating you can do step one. STEP ONE Determine if your windows can be restored or not. To see if your Thermal Panes windows are stained on the out side or in between the panes,look at the window closely to see if it’s on the out side generally it can be fix but if it’s in between the glass it can not be fixed. to determine this you can
put your finger on the window to see the depth of the stained or you can wet small part of the window and if the stained goes a way while wet then most likely it can be fixed. This test works on single panes also. Notice! this test is for (untreated window, glass. DO NOT use this test for “Treated” glass surfaces. like tinted windows or mirrored windows or plexiglas.
